Why Turbotek Exists

Turbotek is led by Sean Kline, President & CEO, whose background combines technical leadership, operations, service quality, and business management. Sean’s experience includes leadership roles at RSA, Mercury Interactive/HP, Empirix, and Teradyne, along with a BA in Computer Science from Cornell University and an MBA from the Yale School of Management.

The company’s work grew from a practical observation: many small and medium-sized businesses were relying on technology every day, but they did not always have the strategy, visibility, or specialized IT knowledge needed to make confident decisions. Leaders were worried about security incidents, data loss, outdated infrastructure, and key employees spending too much time dealing with technical issues instead of serving customers or moving the business forward.

Turbotek’s answer is Technology Success, a structured approach that connects technology decisions to organizational goals. Rather than only reacting after something breaks, the team works to understand the business, identify risks and inefficiencies, and build a plan that can mature over time at a pace that makes sense for the client.

That approach is supported by dedicated roles across vCIO guidance, Technology Alignment Management, Help Desk, Centralized Services, and Professional Services. Turbotek’s team also brings technical credentials that include Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer, HPE Accredited Systems Engineer, and Cisco Certified Network Associate experience, helping clients get both strategic guidance and hands-on technical support from one accountable team.

How Turbotek Works with Clients

The company’s approach is practical, advisory, and built around long-term business outcomes rather than one-off technical tasks.

Start with the Business, Not the Hardware

Turbotek’s best-fit clients have engaged executives who are willing to discuss goals, risks, and the way technology affects daily operations. That business context helps shape recommendations that are more useful than generic IT advice.

Build a Plan Before Pushing Change

The 90-day onboarding process front loads time-sensitive issues while building a clearer understanding of the environment. As the team learns the client’s systems and workflows, Turbotek develops a technology strategy and budget that can guide smarter decisions over time.

Bring the Right Roles to the Table

Clients are introduced to key functions including vCIO, Technology Alignment Manager, Help Desk, Centralized Services, and Professional Services. This structure gives clients access to a virtual IT department rather than a single generalist expected to cover every specialty.

Make IT Understandable for Leaders

Turbotek’s voice is educational and business-focused, translating technical work into conversations about risk, cost, productivity, and business results. That helps owners, presidents, CEOs, and managers make informed decisions without needing to become IT specialists themselves.
